Business Financial Healthcheck - this product was developed originally at the request of a client. Essentially we review your business and produce a simple report covering four areas:

Process Improvement - this is also called “process re-engineering”. When thinking of this people traditionally think of manufacturing but we have used these techniques successfully within the Service Sector, Financial Services and general Functional areas (Finance, HR, IT) of all businesses. Essentially we apply the proven Six Sigma Quality methodology to improve your business performance.

Forecasting and Planning - there are many planning and forecasting tools but the key element of a robust planned model are understanding the business, identifying the key factors and keeping it simple.

Activity Based Costing (ABC) - this simple costing techniques looks at your key activities and allows you to calculate the true cost of undertaking these activities. Our team are experienced Accountants who have had practical experience in this subject for over twenty years. We can hep the age old dilemma of matching cost to income to identify where and on what you are really making your profits.

Reporting and Accounting - we are not referring to your businesses regulatory and statutory accounts and returns (although being accountant we do undertake these) but to your key performance reporting. Each business has, what are known as KPI’s – Key Performance indicators, we can help you identify and cost effectively report these. These are not just Financial data but also may include Marketing, Operation or Customer Satisfaction data (like the Net Promoter Score).

Business Continuity Planning - This is a subject many small and medium size businesses ignore - you can use our experience to allow you to develop a robust Business Contingency Plan without hassle.

Coaching and Training - We have two particular strengths here. Our first strength is that we use people with real hands on experience and second is our strength our flexibility. We offer "standard" developed training courses as well as bespoke training events put together to meet your business needs.

To illustrate the range of courses that we cover, we have been commissioned by Leeds Chamber of Commerce to develop and give "Bite Size seminars" on Financial Basics and also to commissioned by the Chartered Institue of Management Accounts (CIMA) to provide some of their PQE (Post Qualification Education) Master Class Courses.
